Our Book of Remembrance

T. & I. Stockman has been a long established Funeral Directors in Brixham and now looks after bereaved families across Torbay and the surrounding areas.

Ian & Vanessa Loram own and run T. & I. Stockman from their main office in Brixham. They have two sons, Seb and Dom. Ian has worked in the family business since he was fifteen, alongside his father Douglas and his grandfather, who did not retire completely until nearly 90!

Douglas, although retired, does assist and enjoys being involved with the local community who he has helped through bereavements over the last fifty years.

Ian’s sister Gillian was the National President of the National Association of Funeral Directors in 2004, a post that Douglas has held in the past as well as Gillian’s husband, Alistair in 2003.

Dominic left school in the summer of 2004 and is learning the art of embalming from his father and work colleague, Les Down.

Sebastian has been involved with the family business since he was fifteen and is currently at University, but continues to help when home on holiday.

Most of the staff have been with T. & I. Stockman for several years and so work together as a large family helping each other, working together towards one aim:
